What is a Cooled SWIR Camera?

Our family of cooled Short Wave Infrared InGaAs Cameras use selected InGaAs focal plane arrays with low dark current and low defective pixel count.

Short Wave Infrared imaging is a widely used technique in many areas of scientific, medical, industrial inspection, and surveillance applications. Imaging in the SWIR region, typically 900 nm to 2200 nm, has advantages in that light in these wavelengths interacts with materials differently to visible wavelengths.

VIS-SWIR

Simultaneous imaging in Visible and SWIR from 600 nm to 1700 nm

Our VIS-SWIR camera enables imaging in both visible and SWIR ranges for enhanced multi-spectral imaging and extended material identification.

IDEAL FOR

Enhanced imaging using the 1800 nm water window where light can penetrate deeper into tissue and through dense smoke/haze

SWIR XT

Extended SWIR range covering 1000 nm to 1900 nm

Our SWIR XT extends spectral coverage to the third water window at 1800 nm while still minimizing dark current.

IDEAL FOR

Applications using a 2.05 micron laser such as coherent LiDAR and thermography for objects >100°C

SWIR XT+

Deepest SWIR range covering 1100 nm to 2200 nm

Extends sensitivity out to 2200 nm but with an increase in dark current reducing the overall sensitivity, to be used when reaching 2200 nm is critical to the application.
